Undergraduate Pathway in Accounting and Finance
Students can enter at either Year 0 (University Foundation) or Year 1 (First Year Degree), depending on your qualifications. Students are guaranteed progression to the second year of a relevant degree, providing that progression criteria are met. Year 0 and Year 1 take place in ICP using dedicated lecturers and benefit from small class sizes.

Students choosing to pursue an Undergraduate Pathway in Accounting and Finance are able to take advantage of Portsmouth Business School's top-of-the-range facilities and the department's strong affiliations with local businesses and the wider community.
Up to nine exemptions from the ACCA Member Qualifications are available to students graduating with a BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance degree. No other university in the UK can offer more exemptions and this is just one of the integral reasons why this degree is such an excellent choice for those considering a career in accountancy.
This degree also allows up to five exemptions from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) papers at Certificate level, and up to two exemptions at Operational level and Management level.
- BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance offers an accelerated route to qualifying with one of the professional accounting bodies such as ICAEW, CIMA and ACCA.
